Wrapping Up a Great Week at U.S. Travel Association’s IPW

Every year we are thrilled to be part of IPW, one of U.S. Travel Association’s (USTA) largest events focused on driving international visitation to the United States. We were busy at the show this year, and had the opportunity to meet with our partners, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), hoteliers and travel brands (140 of them to be exact) to talk about what’s next in digital marketing and share ideas and best practices to continue to increase travel to the U.S.

We were also thrilled to be included in the Brand USA announcement that its new giant-screen film “America’s Treasures” (working title) is in the works, which will explore the nation’s rich music heritage as the camera follows singer/songwriter Aloe Blacc throughout America’s iconic cultural cities. Similar to the highly-acclaimed “National Parks Adventure” film by Brand USA last year, this new one is being produced by MacGillivray Freeman Films, and again Expedia, Inc. will be the global presenting sponsor. The film is currently in production, scheduled to debut in February 2018.

As a longtime partner of Brand USA (since its inception), we are honored to continue lending support to its efforts to drive international visitation to the U.S. We believe in the power of travel and believe that the films help people around the world be even more inspired to visit the U.S. More to come!

With more than 20 years of experience working in the online travel industry, Jennifer previously managed travel marketing partnerships at Orbitz, and spent over a decade at Travelocity where she held a variety of media and partner marketing roles in San Francisco, New York, London and Paris. Jennifer is frequently traveling around the world, though she calls Connecticut home.
