A large, global hospitality chain with over 5,000 properties across nearly 100 countries sought to increase room nights across key cities in the United States by leveraging TravelAds and Display.
The hotel chain had previously collaborated with Expedia Group Media Solutions and achieved strong marketing results. To increase room nights in their key markets, they wanted to tap into the power of both the sponsored listing product, TravelAds, and Display advertising.
Between February and March, the hotel chain used TravelAds and Display to promote their global message. They highlighted a 15 – 30 percent off sale across the Expedia Group platform using both digital advertising solutions.
The campaign continued to build on the hospitality company’s success with Expedia Group Media Solutions. This marketing strategy resulted more than a 15 percent year-over-year (YoY) increase in room night demand.
Additionally, the campaign provided strong visibility and engagement, generating over 280,000 clicks, with an impressive click-through-rate (CTR) of over two percent.
